Andres Felipe Munoz (Colombia) has just beaten the world record of the 500m sprint during the quarterfinals of the 2013 World Championship of roller speed-skating race in Oostende (Belgium). 40.270 official time!
The previous record also belonged to Andres Muñoz (40.514). It was established ??two years ago at the 2011 World championships in Yeosu (South Korea).
Reminder: Andres Felipe Muñoz has already beaten the 300m TT world record in the 300 meters on the same track during the first day of competition in Oostende with a time of 23.896 seconds.
