No more drawn games in international championships of inline hockey

A press release of the CERILH informed of a new modification in the international ruleset of inline hockey. From now on, even during the group phases, there won’t be any more drawn games beween two teams.
In case of a tie at the end of the regulation game time (2 periods of 20 minutes each), 5 minutes of extra time with sudden death will be added, and shoot-outs if necessary (4 per team).
Point distribution:
- 3 points for a victory within the regulation game time
- 2 points for a victory after extra time or shoot-outs
- 1 point for a loss after extra time or shoot-outs
- 0 point for a loss within the regulation game time
