1500 m at the Essent ISU European Speed-Skating Championships in Budapest (Hungary)

The final 1500 m of the the Essent ISU European Speed-Skating Championships took place yesterday in Budapest (Hungary). Dutch Sven Kramer (1:53.98) took the first place once again in front of the Norwegian Sverre Lunde Pedersen (1:54.87). Dutch Jan Blokhuijsen (1:54.93) completed the podium.
The Belgian Bart Swings did a nice performance by taking the eighth place in 1:56.08. He finished before the French Alexis Contin (12th in 1:57.58) and Benjamin Mace (13th in 1:57.80). Ferre Spruyt, Bart’s compatriot, took the 20th place.
