24 Hours of Montreal 2012 just ended at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (MontrĂ©al, Canada). “Il Peloton” team won the race with 198 laps ahead of “Antoine Laoun Rockets” and “Shift Racing”.
In the solo category, everybody was waiting for a performance of Philippe Coussy. The French skater was in Montreal the beat his own record and pass the 600km in 24 hours. “Rphil / LOU Solitaire” managed to achieve 140 laps or 607 km!
Suffice to say that the 600km has been widely taken. LOU Solitaire took the 22nd place in the general ranking with a best lap at 31.32 kph average and an overall average above 25 kph.The race started at a high pace for solos before slowing gradually over hours. Congratulations RPhil!
