A few hours before the start of competition in Yeosu (South Korea), held the opening ceremony of the World Championships of roller speed-skating.
The traditional opening ceremony took place in a sports hall near of the track. All delegations at Yeosu marched behind their flag.
The ceremony continued with a welcoming speech by the officials. But neither the Korean IOC President nor the President of the Asian Games Korea were in the room: they recorded their speech that everyone could watch on a giant screen.
Then the festivities continued, alternating between traditional animation and modern laser shows. A wonderful show for 5000 spectators with many students passionate of roller-skating and Korean pop stars …
