Coming from the Pathé archives, this video plunges us back into the past with a rink hockey game played in 1954 by the women’s team of Folkestone (Kent, Great Britain). In the middle of the court, the players slalom between the poles. The goal keeper has shin guards but no helmet. Let’s also note that she stands upright, instead of squatting like today. Another major detail, the skates look a lot like artistic skates!
