Arena Geisingen Half Marathon 2012 (Germany)

The fifth stage of the German Inline Cup 2012 will be held September 8, 2012 near the famous Arena Geisingen. This is the second edition of this half marathon. This will be also the sixth stage of the Ba-Wu Inline Cup 2012 and the final stage of the Swiss Skate Tour 2012.

The course

The half marathon, as part of the GERMAN INLINE CUP 2012, leads all friends of inline-skating 15 times through the picturesque streets of Geisingen. The 1.4 km long varied course with its angled alleys attracts lots of visitors which create a great atmosphere at every crossing of the finish line.

Rankings

The half-marathon in the Fitness-class is perfect for beginners to get experience in race and competition.
The LÖWENCUP has got a separate scoring for the beginners and juniors, the ideal opportunity for children and young people to gain some experience in a race.
This year the half-marathon in Geisingen is a stage of the newly established SWISS SKATE TOUR. So the organization is looking forward to many skaters from nearby Switzerland. The race is also part of BA-WÜ Inline Cup which will compete in Geisingen with its skaters.

Accomodation

A great program with music, presentation, slackline demonstrations, balloon competition, and a variety of food specialties will ensure the correct late summer mood!

The arena geisingen is close to the race and can be used to warm up, for changing clothes and showering. On Friday evening at the “Pasta Party” and on Saturday after the race you will be able to refi ll your energy at the arena bistro.
For all participants the organization proposes for the event weekend a great all-included package of training, accommodation and full board (per person 99 Euro). a
