Roller marathon of Gdansk 2012 (Poland)

The Roller Marathon Spierpniowy 2012 of Gdansk (Poland) will be held on 25 and 26 August 2012. This event also counts for the Poland Championships.

Ranking and prizes

The following ranking will be made during the August Marathon:

• Women’s and Men’s Poland Championship (seniors) over the distance of 42km
• Junior’s Poland Championship (A category) over the distance of 42km
• Junior’s Poland Championship (B category) over the distance of 42km
• Junior’s Poland Championship (C category) over the distance of 21km
• Age categories of women and men (based on the year of birth)

The financial prize pool is 25 000 PLN (50% women 50% men). Best men athletes and best women athletes in general category will receive financial prize, as stated below:

Press release about the WIC cancellation

Gdansk, 5 July 2012: After having unsuccessfully explored all opportunities to raise the necessary funds the organisers of the Class 1 race in Gdansk finally had to accept that they could not save their race for this year’s World Inline Cup. The team in Gdansk is very unhappy but will now concentrate all efforts to come back to the tour with a stop in Poland in 2013, when they will be joined most probably by new races in China and Thailand.

26 August 2012: Gdansk (Poland) – Class 1
16 September 2012: Jeonju (South Korea) – Top Class
