2012 Raiffeisen Lausanne Street&Bowl Contest (Switzerland)

The 2012 Raiffeisen Lausanne Street & Bowl Contest will be held at the Vidy Bowl (Lausanne, Switzerland) on Thursday August 30 to Sunday, September 2, 2012. The event is organized by the association LSNR-Crew.

The association organizes the LSNR Crew 4th consecutive edition of this of freestyle competition, the Raiffeisen Lausanne Street & Bowl Contest, and for the third year, this competition will take place on the mythical site of Vidy Bowl, on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Modules

As every year, the association LSNR-Crew, there will be added crazy modules, that will allow riders from all around the world to realize their most impressive tricks.

This year, the spots built for the event will be even crazier! From rainbow boxes and rainbow rails to the mighty dragon rail that was featured in 2011. Skaters will have an enormous choice of spots for their skills to feast on.

Lausanne revival

Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to the ‘Lausanne Revival’ : the old school skaters meeting ; meaning free skating, BBQ and swimming sessions by the lake. The legendary HS36 skatepark with its freshly renovated bowl will be open and skatable for free.

This year a Freeride downhill run will be held during the whole weekend in the mythical ‘Vallée de la Jeunesse’, as well as a slalom competition in Vidy next to the bowl.
Rollerblade will again be giving initiation sessions for the kids.

Competition

Saturday begins with qualifications in all categories!
In the evening the traditional Rollerdisco will be held at the Docks, next to the HS36 skatepark, so do not forget your quads, fluorescent pants, wigs and funky dance moves !

And Sunday, the Grand Finale with finals in Pro, Amateur and Girls categories!
The prize money sums up to CHF 6000 .-
