Muscle Strengthening with Yann Guyader 12
It's not because we're uploading drills after drills that you don't deserve a break! Speed Skating World Champion Yann Guyader is going to make you suffer a little more with that variation of our previous drill on cross-overs. This time, let's opt for a straight leg that doesn't touch the ground. Breaking down of the drillâŠ

Static work on cross-overs with straight leg
A few instructions
- Keep your hips in the axis
- In fact it is two phases of a cross-over: the first phase with your leg stretched to the inside, the second with your leg stretched to the outside.
- Your foot shouldn’t touch the ground, it is just above it.
Repetitions
Series of 2×8 to 2×10 sec on one leg: 8 to 10 seconds with your leg stretched to the outside, 8 to 10 seconds with your leg stretched to the inside.
