Booming demand for K2 Cologne Skate Marathon during holidays

Skate registrations exceed record demand of 440. Approximately two weeks after the beginning of the registration for the K2 Cologne Skate Marathon on October 14, 2012 the organization already received almost double as many registrations as in 2011.

This is the highest demand for the skate marathon during the first registration period since the premiere event in 1997. A total of 445 “early birds” registered prior to New Year’s Eve for EUR 39.00.
Compared with the previous year (deadline for cheapest rate on January 31, four weeks after the begin of the registration) the demand increased by 47.35%. Thus almost a fourth of all expected participants already registered within the first two weeks.
