11th International Tournament “Terras do Infante – Lagos Dos Descobrimentos”

After a temporary break, the 11th International Tournament “Terras do Infante – Lagos Dos Descobrimentos” will take place from April 4 to 6, 2014 in lagos (Algarve, Portugal). The event is organized by the “Clube de Lagos Roller Patinagem”. A wide variety of distance is proposed from 300 m track to 10 km or marathon.

Roller Lagos CP has resumed its organisation, with races on the new track (already tried out and complimented by World Champion Bart Swings, as well as a road race of 23Km by the sea, which a sight to see for the visiting skaters. Roller Lagos CP is hopeful that the number of entries surpasses the usual three hundred.

This tournament is for all ages, from 5 years old up to Masters, including the Elites and the Senior B, as well as school sports, and it will take place from the 4th to 6th of April 2014, a week before Geisingen and Bologna and fifteen days before the Three tracks, allowing all skaters, outside of Europe, to start their European Tour in Lagos, Portugal.

Roller Lagos has succeeded in enlisting partnerships with several hotel units and can offer 3 day packages from 49 € per person, including accommodation, 4 meals and entrance into the tournament, as well as offering various different sea experiences (kayaks, dolphin watching, grotto trips, trips to coastal natural beauty spots) as well as a clinic on the next Monday, April 7th.
