The 12th FIRS Inline Downhill World Championships will take place in Bettola, on the beautiful Northern Italian Hills. It is the most exciting event of the most exciting discipline on inline skates.
The Course is 1.7 km long (1.05 miles), the upper section has large, fast turns and corners.
The lower one is much steeper and more difficult, with a really hard 90 degree right in a small road which requires very hard braking and top level skills. The finish line will be in Piazza Colombo, the main square of the village of Bettola. Top speeds are in the range of 75kph (47mph).
The asphalt surface is quite rough, and it will make the course more challenging.
