The 2016 Female World Rink Hockey Championship, will be held in Iquique (Chile), from September 24 to October 1.

The 13th edition of the Female World Rink Hockey Championship, will be hosted by the Chilean city of Iquique in 2016, from September 24 to October 1.
The Iquique edition will be the last “stand alone” rink hockey world championship: Starting from 2017 the four world rink hockey championships (“A” and “B” Male Senior, Female and Male U20) will be included in the FIRS World Roller Games Programme.
The President of the Spanish Federation (FEP) Mr. Carmelo Paniagua and the Mayor of Vilanova i la Geltrú Mrs. Neus Lloveras committed the FIRS flag to Mr. Mauricio Soria, counsellor for sport of the disctrict of Iquique.
