2016 International Speed-skating Event in Mechelen (Belgium)

Fratelli Team Mechelen invites you to the 6th stage of the European Cup Inline Speedskating 2016 on the banked race track in Mechelen Belgium on May 2016, from 6 to 8.

Racing in Mechelen

• The banked track is really fast: Three national records were broken in 2012, including two Belgian records by Bart Swings and Nele Armee
• Nice winners in the past: the first edition of the European Cup in 2011 was won by Bart Swings and Mareike Thum. The 2012 edition by Bart Swings and Sabine Berg.
• Competition will be fierce this year: several National Teams, including the Belgian, German and Dutch have already confirmed their attendance.
• Also the Columbian National Team will be present at the European Cup in Mechelen.
• Nice prize money

• Younger skaters (from aged 7)

Quad race

As a side event, the annual Retro Race (on quads!) will happen on Sunday. So bring these all quad rollerskates, oil them and have some fun!

Food and beverage

Food and beverage are foreseen at the race track. If you need warm meals (saturday lunch and/or dinner, Sunday lunch) you need to order upfront (at 9.5 euro each) Information on hotels and hotel prices can be found on the website of the race event.
