2011 will mark the 8th edition of 24hrs Inline Montreal, and we are looking forward eagerly to bringing you a great event with cool new stuff for the Labour Day Weekend!
Ever since the first edition in 2004, more and more inline skaters have taken part each year. With last year’s record participation of nearly 1000 skaters, everything indicates that the event will keep on growing. We are pumped about plans for this year, and just know you’ll be blown away.
Get out your agenda and reserve your energy for a complete long weekend of activities from September 2 to 5, starting off with a Friday Night Skate! As in other great cities around the world, like Paris and New York, this will be an opportunity to discover the streets of Montréal as a tourist on inlines. This “discovery activity” is free, will be guided all the way and open to all skaters at all levels (it’s not a race). We’ll give you details later about where and when it starts.
On Saturday, September 3, a host of entertaining and competitive activities will await you at the 24hrs site in Jean-Drapeau Park. If you’re up for some fun in the wonderful world of inline skating, this will be the place for you!
Register now, by check, and you’ll get the early-bird discounts. Registration fees do not include the minimum charity donation of $25 per skater to the MS Society, to be paid later.
The race will begin on Sunday, September 4 at 2 p.m.!

As you might remember, in 2010 the 24hrs event generated a record gift of $33 712.14, with the top donation of $1805 coming from the Rockets de Diplomate. That achievement earned the team free registration for this year! Could your team could do even better? How about a huge effort for the MSSC!
