24hrs Roller Montreal: Are you up to the challenge?

For its ninth year, this supercharged relay race will be taking over the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on September 2 and 3, 2012! Montreal, May 1, 2012 – A prestigious track, a 24-hour race, an entire weekend of activities and more than 1,000 skaters teaming up for a wild ride! The only event of its kind in North America, 24hrs Inline Montreal will be held this year on September 2 and 3 at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. This year’s event has received a reboot, with new sub-categories to let everyone shine!

What is 24hrs Inline Montreal?

24hrs Inline Montreal is an inline skating race that has teams of up to 10 skaters competing over a 24-hour period. The challenge: in 24 hours, the teams must complete as many laps as possible (in a relay format) of the approximately 4.3-km track. Each lap is automatically counted with a chip-timing system.

But 24hrs Inline Montreal is more than just a relay race, it is also two days of activities that let participants test their limits in a friendly, festive atmosphere. Amateurs, speed demons, undiscovered champions, or people with a passion for anything new: everyone can find some fun in the many activities on tap.

  • Saturday, September 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. : Sprint event.
