5th World Freestyle Skating Championships 2011

The 5th World Freestyle Skating Championships 2011 will take place in the famous speed Arena of Geisingen (Germany) on october 2011, 21 to 23.

1) Speed Slalom

A maximum of 12 male skaters (6 for senior and 6 for junior) and 12 female skaters (6 for senior and 6 for junior) are allowed for each nation

2) Classic Slalom

A maximum of 12 male skaters (6 for senior and 6 for junior) and 12 female skaters (6 for senior and 6 for junior) are allowed for each nation

3) Pair Slalom

(not classified by age or gender group, ONLY 2 skaters for each team) A maximum of 3 teams are allowed for each nation

4) Feestyle Slide

A maximum of 6 male skaters and 6 female skaters are allowed for each nation

5) Battle Slalom

A maximum of 6 male skaters and 6female skaters are allowed for each nation

Age Groups (Eligibility)

a. Speed Slalom and Freestyle Slalom
Senior category: born on or before January 1st, 1995;
Junior category: born after January 1st, 1995
Athletes in Junior group is allow to participate at the Senior category but for those who had participated in the previous Championships under the Senior category is NOT allowed to enter the Junior events.
b. Pair Slalom shall not be classified by age or gender group.
c. Battle Slalom and freestyle Slide shall not be classified by age group.

New Participation

Green Card:
This is only applicable to skater who is in the WSSA World Top 20
ranking. The Top 20 skaters have the priority to represent the country for WFSC without going through the national selection. Each country eligible to 2 skaters in each discipline for the green card.

Submission of Music/Song
Music for Freestyle Slalom and pair Slalom must be on MP3 format and must be submitted to the organiser 2 weeks before the competition dates by email. Failing to do so, the local organizer reserved the rights not to accept late submission.

Entry Form
All federations are kindly requested to send their entry forms within and not later than September 30 to WSSA. A fee of 35 US $ is chargeable to each skater to be paid to Register Officer of 2011 WFSC on Oct 20 by 05h00pm at Geisingen City, Arena Geisingen.
