The K2 Cologne Skate Marathon, Germanyâs second biggest and second fastest skate marathon, will take place on October 13, 2013 within the framework of the RheinEnergieMarathon Cologne presented by Sparkasse Cologne Bonn.
Comparable to the previous years this one-lap race will be the thrilling German Inline Cup final through downtown Cologne. Coming up with thousands of recreational skaters and local, regional, national as well as international skate pros they all gather to celebrate the series final and season closing.
Nowhere else you will find so many enthuasiastic spectators who partially line up along the course in espaliers like in L’Alpe d’Huëz and cheer for the participants. Even the less fast skaters are celebrated like top athletes.
And after the finish line the big refreshment area awaits the skaters with a unique range of food and beverages.
