Skate around the world in 24 hours … Do you know this concept? Inline or quad skaters from all around the world will skate according to a pre-established schedule, so that a 24-hour period is covered without interruption on wheels on June 15 & 16, 2013.
The “24skate” will have a big birthday party this year: It will be its tenth anniversary, starting on 15 of June at 11:00 UTC (formerly known as Greenwich Time).
The goal is to cover as many kilometers as possible and to knot a global net of skaters. An additional goal is to help UNICEF, the United Nations agency to support children around the world.
