Dutch Sven Kramer finished 9th in the 500m men, 91/100 behind the winner. Victory came to the Polish Brodka Zbigniew (35,800). Bart Swings (BEL) finished 10th and Joey Mantia (USA) came 15th.
The 5000m men was won by Sven Kramer (NED), 5 seconds ahead of Skobrev Ivan (RUS). Bart Swings (BEL) got a beautiful 3rd place. Joey Mantia (USA) took the last place.
Bart Swings (BEL) won a second bronze medal in the 1500m men. He beat Sven Kramer (NED) by two tenths. Joey Mantia (USA) took the 21th place.
The 10,000m men saw the victory of Sven Kramer (NED) only 5/100 ahead of Bart Swings (BEL) very sharp! 3 medals for Bart in a weekend, the talented inline skater did a great and successful reconversion on the ice! He can reasonably hope for a medal at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi …
