500 m men: Michel Mulder (NED) took the 5th place, 26/100 behind the winner. The victory went to Joji Kato (JPN) in 34.21.
500 m ladies: Brittany Bowe (USA) finished 13th and Vanessa Bittner (AUT) 29th. The race was won by the Chinese Jing Yu in 37.21.
1000 m ladies: former inline skaters performed well: Brittany Bowe (USA) took second position ahead of compatriot Heather Richardson third. Vanessa Bittner (AUT) finished 29th.
1000 m men: Michel Mulder (NED) took the 3rd place, only 3/100 behind the winner. The French Benjamin Macé finished 12th. Hein Otterspeer (NED) finished first with a hundredth of margin ahead Haralds Silovs (LAT).
