A stage of the 2015 Europa Cup of Speed Skating took place on June 6-7 in Wörgl, Austria.
Senior Women’s: A victory on the edge
The American Brittany Bowe (Bont USA) did a great comeback to competition in winning the general ranking in front of the Dutch Mannon Kamminga (Powerslide Matter Racing) and the Chinese Guo Dan (Arma Arena Geisingen). There are only two points of difference between the two first places.
Senior Men’s: Elton de Souza gathers momentum
Not present at the 2015 Rollathlon, the French Elton de Souza (EOSkates) seizes another victory at the general ranking in front of the German Simon “Boom Boom” Albrecht (Arma Arena Geisingen) and his Colombian team mate Camilo Acosta.
Junior A Women’s
In the Junior A Women’s, the victory goes to the Belgian Van de Catsye (Reko Zemst Maple skate) in front of the Dutch Danielle Ootes (Cadomotus Junior Team). The French Mélissa Bellet (DRAC 2S) completes the Top-3.
Junior A Men’s
The Junior A Men’s category is dominated by the Chinese Zhang Chi (Radius Skate Racing Team) in front of the Germans Tim Siegel (Blau Gelb Gross Gerau Maple Skate Team) and Sebastian Mirsch (ERSG Darmstadt / Sebamed-Powerslide).
Junior B Women’s
The Junior B Women’s category is won by the Hungarian Dominika Gardi (Tornado Team Szeged), one point ahead of the German Larissa Gaiser (TSV Bernhausen). The Dutch Eliza Dul (SKOV) completes the Top-3.
Junior B Men’s
The French Doucelin Pédicone (SILA Ligne Droite Racing) dominated the race with his head and shoulders. He finishes in front of the Dutch Louis Hollaar (Maple Skate) and in front of another French, Valentin Thiébault, also a skater from the SILA Ligne Droite Racing Team.
