After the competitions of the Three Tracks, Geisingen and Gross-Gerau, the 2016 EuroCup makes a stop in Heerde, Netherlands. Here are the results of the 300 m and the point races.
300 m
On the 300 m, German Simon Albrecht lets the guns do the talking and imposes himself in front of two world-renouned sprinters: Spanish Ioseba Fernandez and Colombian Andre Felipe Campo. French Gwendal Lepivert and Darren de Souza respectively finish 4th and 5th.
Point Races
Despite impressive opponents, Italian Fabio Francolini proves that he is still in the running: he wins in front of several world champions, like Ewen Fernandez (2nd). the 3rd place goes to Colombian Alex Cujavante. Alexis Contin finishes at the foot of the podium, just like another point-race specialist, New-Zealander Peter Michael.
