The 1st Paris Skating Marathon took place on Sunday October 15, 2017, on the quays and the lanes along the shores of the Seine river. Over 2 800 skaters participated in the event under a radious sun. The elite skaters were the first to take the start at 11:35AM for two loops of 21 km.
In the men’s category, Ewen Fernandez (Powerslide Matter) quickly broke away to win solo, in front of Nolan Beddiaf (EOSkates) and Guillaume de Mallevoue (Rollerblade). In the women’s, Flavie Balandras got her second marathon victory of the season after that of the Lugdunum Roller Contest, France. She outdistanced Chloé Geoffroy (Powerslide) and Marine Lefeuvre (Powerslide).
