A track and a road circuit in the immediate vicinity

Most of the time at World Championships, the track and the road circuit are placed several hundreds of meters apart from each other. In Kaohsiung, it’s just about a few meters only!
The two facilities are built in the middle of a tree-filled park surrounded by houses. Taiwan is one of the densest cities in the world and space is a luxury there!

The road circuit

With its perfectly symmetrical bean shape, the road circuit of Kaohsiung has a long straight line and corners in both directions. The curve of the corners are quite smooth and optimal for high speeds!

The speed skating track

Once more, Vesmaco was solicited to renew the coating of the indoor track of Kaohsiung. The Italian Company covered the track with pink resin. The contrast should offer great pictures! The 200 m track is covered, there shouldn’t be any weather disturbances during the first days of the competition. The facility has a wide public space and all the indispensable amenities.
