The 11th stage of the World Skatecross Series took place in Lyon on September 27-28, 2014. Anthony Avella (Fra) imposed himself in finals. He did the second best time at the qualifications behind Russian I. Sukhenko. Avella takes back the lead at the general ranking that was previously owned by Belgian Anthony Pottier. The latter finished 7th in Lyon. Harry Perna (Fra), the winner of last edition, finished 2nd in front of Flavien du Peloux (Fra). As for the Women’s category, Mathilde Monneron won her third race in a row after QuĂ©bec and Lausanne. She is only one race away from the world title. Finishing 6th at the last stage in Shanghai would be enough. Only Jessica Billard, 4th in Lyon, could still catch up on her at the general ranking. Russian Irina Davydova finished 2nd in front of Italian Francesca Conzi.
