The French yielded against the Spanish team, the favorite of the competition. The scores do not reflect the French resistance. The first Spanish threat on a penalty was warded off by the French goalie, twice.

Pol Molas finally opens the scores in favor of Spain after 6 minutes of game. He is penalized a few minutes later by a blue card, but Givency Tshilombo doesn’t manage to convert the shot.

Back from the break, Raul Fernandez tapers off the French hopes in updating the scores 2-0. The French goalie, Martinato, resists once more to a Spanish penalty converted by Fernandez. The Spanish however, make the most of their numerical superiority to score their 3rd goal, by Paul Manrubia.
