Cindy Massé meeting quad skater girls in skateparks

With the strong comeback of roller derby in France, quad skating in parks knows a new boost on the women’s side. They take over skateparks, bowls, and ramps. Cindy Massé went to meet those skaters and talk about their motivations…

“I made this video report on women quad skating in parks. Being a skater myself, I had my heart set on seeing through this project to put the light on Women’s Aggressive Quad Skating.

I took the road this summer to meet Alexia, Lucy, Chloé, Capucine, Claire and Leslie. I spent time with each one of them, I filmed them and interviewed them, in order to understand their motivations and the strong feelings they experience while skating.
I’d like this video to contribute to encouraging women to go to skateparks and assert themselves there.
