The second stage of the 2013 World Skate Cross Series was held in Rennes (France) on the occasion of Rennes sur Roulettes, a major French event with several practices of roller-skating.

Men’s race: Romain Godenaire is still the man to beat

After his victory in WSX Le Mans, Romain Godenaire (France) took the first place again in WSX Rennes ! Romain Godenaire was clearly first after the qualifications, about a half second ahead of his closest opponent Anthony Avella (France), who finished second. Flavien Du Peloux (France) is also on the podium again on the third step. With this second victory in a row, Romain Godenaire stays the leader of the world ranking.

Women’s race: Lucie Amand gets her first victory

In the women’s competition, Lucie Amand (Fra) finished first in Rennes’ WSX, She took the second place in Le Mans in April. Despite an average time in the individual qualifications, more than 2 seconds behind the leader, Mathilde Monneron (France), LuceAmand did a perfect final. She passed all her opponents to cross the finish line first. Mathilde Monneron (France) took the second place, and Maeliss Conan (France) finished third.
